Republicans have a couple answers ;

We need to spend every penny on fighting never ending wars.

That every foreign nation we rebuild is more important than rebuilding America.

China will keep picking up our debt.

And best of all get the Pres. Bush debt plan "Keep it off budget." And no one ever questioned his deficits like they do pres. Obama. pres. Bush did not have 1 defict neutral plan.

I doubt there is very many people on this website right now that don't have a ton bills to pay all the time.
I think most of us work as hard as we can and try to live within our means so that we can cover these sorts of bills.

Well, I would be getting a second job or seeing if someone would lend me the cash. A pay day loan would be my last resort, but I would avoid this at all cost, because the interest is outrageous on these. Then, I would pay the bills in this order:

1) Although I'm in Canada, so it would be a lot cheaper. Plus, you can usually apply for some sort of supplement to help you out with this.
4) You need food to live
5) Where I live, you wouldn't be able to live without heat during the winter.
3) I am in a place where I can't be without a vehicle...although you can usually get away with being a bit late on this one as long as you avoid accidents in the meantime. I've unknowingly done it before.

7) is non-applicable where I live, because I can see the doctor for free and medication for the ear infection would not be pricey.

As for 2) my husband is a computer technician, so I have that one covered.

6) can be borrowed from a friend until you can afford your own.
8) can be taken care of with Dryel or the right cycle on your washing machine/dryer. I do it all the time.
9) should be dumped if all she cares about is a ring.

As an aside, when I was in university, I had to make these sorts of decisions all the time, because I was living off of less than $500 per month. I got food from my mom whenever I visited her and lived off of whatever she could spare. I got 2 credit cards and eventually ended up maxing them out. I eventually opted to work and go to school at the same time, and got a job that worked well with my school schedule. I also ended up moving in with 3 other people to reduce my rent, food, and utility bills.
