Extremely rapid heartbeat?

<< Question for the supplement Cold Fusion EX by LG Sciences?  Sleeping trouble, tiredness. Type 2? >>

I’m concerned with a few related issues that I have been experiencing for quite some time: I have high anxiety and stress levels, often feeling nauseous and at times overwhelmed. I have an extremely high heartbeat when doing any physical activity, an irregular heartbeat and will experience heart palpitations a few times a month, and a very rapid heartbeat after sugar consumption. I also feel lethargic most of the time.

Medical details:
- Diagnosed low iron and currently on iron supplement
- Previously fell ill due to a stomach ulcer (most likely diet and stress related)
- Healthy body weight
- Family history of heart failure (father) and diabetes (grandfather)

What are the possible underlying causes of these issues?

Have they checked you for diabetes? There are a few different conditions, such as adrenal insufficiency, that can be related to diabetes that can cause symptoms such as these. You should ask your doctor for a referral to an endocrinologist and if you don’t find out what’s wrong there, you should see a cardiologist. There are a lot of different things that it could be, though. Don’t give up on finding out what it is.
